Have you noticed that Christmas this year is a bit more tense? With the war in Afghanistan and a weak economy, people are more hesitant in their holiday spending.
Now I'm all for thoughtful restraint when it comes to pushing the commercial edge of Christmas, but I'm not thrilled with the gloom and the tension. After all, what did the angels say to the shepherds when Jesus was born? I think the phrase,"Peace On Earth" was in there somewhere!
Maybe my little pep talk hasn't lifted your spirits yet? Well, here's Plan "B": When you're down, the best thing to do is look at the guy next to you who is in a hole deeper than yours, right? With that thought in mind, the Christmas 2001 Edition of the Heavenly Top Ten is:
